The Neighborhood

Sea Heaven is nestled on a quiet, private road that leads directly to the beach. We are within walking distance to the iconic home featured in the Nights in Rodanthe movie starring Richard Gere & Diane Lane, the Chicamacomico Life Saving Station Museum , an amazing, pirate ship themed playground and Graveyard Run, a huge skate park located behind the Rodanthe -Waves -Salvo community center.

The Rodanthe Harbor offers free parking and is a 2 minute drive from Sea Heaven. Put in your boat, kayak or paddle board and watch the sunset over the Pamlico Sound.

Getting Around

The Tri-Village area can be easily explored via car or bike! Lucky for you, Sea Heaven has 3 beach cruisers available for our guests! If you need additional bikes or beach gear Island Cycles and Beach Gear Rentals is within walking distance to Sea Heaven. Be sure to ask for your Sea Heaven discount! Peddle on over to the sound for a spectacular sunset or tour the 7 mile scenic, coastal bike path that starts just past Sea Oats Drive.

The small villages of Salvo, Avon, Buxton and Frisco are all within a short drive. Explore the Bodie & Hatteras Lighthouse, Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, and all the beautiful wildlife and beaches up and down HWY 12 South. Don't forget to take the scenic ferry ride to Ocracoke for a day of exploring!

ABOUT THE OWNERS
 
Hi there! We purchased Sea Heaven in April 2022 and gave her some much needed TLC. Our family has been making memories on the Outer Banks for many, many years. This family photo is the very first time we took our children to Hatteras Island, and 15 years later there is still no other place we would rather be.We fell in love with the peaceful, low-key vibe that Rodanthe offers. The tranquil & natural surroundings of the Cape Hatteras National Sea Shore make it easy to disconnect from worldly distractions and reconnect to what's truly important. Sea Heaven is a very special place for us and we are confident you will feel the same!
